All events will have an entry form sent out prior to the event with plenty of time to plan ahead.
New Events for 05/06 Information:
Cluster Competitions: Every SSCo has co-ordianted a 'cluster club' for their family of primary schools. Currently there is at least one cluster club in each family of schools. This is an after school session (normally 3.30pm - 4.30pm). The cluster clubs vary in the age group that they are open to. Each school has received information from their SSCo about this. After a four to six week coaching session, there will be a competition held amongst those children who have been attending................a 'Cluster Competition'.
KS1 Swimming / Gym Festival: There are two of these competitions this academic year (one for small schools and one for large schools). These will be sessions with some children competing in the swimming and others in the gym in the sports hall. There is no need to prepare your pupils for this event. The swimming will be a aqua session with lots of fun activities - not just swimming in lanes! The gym and dance will be coaching sessions with a competitive spin on them. Again, there is no need to prepare your pupils for these events.
